I want a town government that talks to residents, spends carefully, and respects the people who built this place. I'm asking for your vote, and for your questions, any time.
I will not vote for a property tax rate above the rolled-back rate. In plain terms, I won't vote to take more from your property than the town took last year.
Beyond that, I want to go through our budget line by line to find where money is being wasted, make sure our vendor and service contracts are getting competitive pricing, and work toward lowering our millage rate over time, without removing things residents care about. Done right, Montverde can be a model for the rest of the county.

Public records answered promptly. I also want to make this the default: every document and email that isn't legally exempt, posted to the town's website within 15 days after the month ends. You shouldn't have to ask to see how your town is run.
Contracts go out for competitive bids, and the budget should be something you can actually read, not just approve.
Clear rules that apply the same way to every property owner in town, no exceptions for who you know.
The families who built Montverde made it worth moving to in the first place. I want to protect that while we figure out what comes next.
I've run two technology businesses out of Montverde for 14 years now, on top of almost three decades working in tech before that. I know what it takes to meet payroll, read a budget line by line, and tell people something they don't want to hear.
I'm running because I think this town can do better. A council that actually talks to residents instead of just announcing things, that spends carefully, and that answers its mail.
Most evenings you'll find me out riding a skateboard or scooter with my daughter. If you see us around town, stop me. I'd rather answer your question in person than have you guessing.
